The Windows server will quite happily install all the require updates/patches prior to the January cumulative patch. However I have an issue when building servers from a Microsoft ISO and then try to patch them to the latest cumulative patch. These host will then host Window 2016 servers. I am currently using ESXi - 6.5.0 Update 2 (Build 8294253) for our host servers.
