It was praised by legendary game designer Masahiro Sakurai, who liked that the Nier series steps “outside their game or genre-defined “boundaries” to shock the audience”. The game has shipped over a million physical copies, and has even sold over 220,000 copies on Steam (link via Reddit). NieR: Automata has been a big hit for Square-Enix.
Costumes from the previous Japanese release, NieR: Replicant, for androids 2B, 9S and A2.The DLC set will be called “3C3C1D119440927”, and will add three new colosseums to challenges, along with some additional sub-quests. Square-Enix announced today that DLC is on the way for their hit game NieR: Automata.
